I seem to have spent my life

moving between the worlds

of music and art

never settling in one place or

one medium

Always working in one world or

the other but rarely in conjunction

They both take too much energy

to work in unison

As with music, images come

at unexpected moments, like a

voice or a vision, suddenly there

with me,

a silent moment that can turn into a tornado of creative bliss and torment.

Sometimes images pour so fast

that I am left with a confused

canvas that will wrench at

my mind, screaming for resolve.

There is a point when things

become clear and a feeling of

deep joy fills my being.

This is usually followed by

doubt and paranoia and a

overwhelming desire to destroy everything.

The work that escapes this phase

is the work you see...
